Payments are due within 24 hours of the date on the invoice and can also be made through Venmo or Zelle. Payments are non-refundable and cannot be canceled once work on the project has begun to compensate Bonnie Career Services for time spent preparing in advance of the interview session, conducting client consultation review, performing career analysis based on target positions, preparing/reviewing client worksheet and writing time. Invoices for new services that are 30 days past due are canceled and you must contact us for a new estimate in order to proceed. Invoices for projects/sessions in progress that are 30 past due will incur late fees. Unused services will be subject to price increase or changes in package components after 180 days of the purchase date. Client agrees that making payment for services will indicate acceptance of these Terms of Service. Failure to read the Terms of Service in its entirety does not constitute a waiver or legal release of these Terms.
Terms For Writing Services:
Writing services are not cancellable. First drafts will be submitted within 7-14 business days from the date of payment provided we have full client participation. If payment is not received within 24 hours, the document completion deadline will no longer be effective as we take on more projects. Balances for payment plans are due when drafts are ready or on the 10th business day from when the first payment was made, whichever comes first. Full payment is required before any drafts are provided to the client to prevent any pirating of completed work to date.
Client worksheets are mandatory and if returned more than 48 hours from the initial request will result in a document completion delay beyond the 7-14 business day turnaround. Client agrees to be responsive to email/phone inquiries in order to facilitate the writing process. Any delay in responding to email/phone inquiries will also result in a document completion delay. In the event there is no response or a project is halted on part of the client, for any reason beyond extenuating circumstances or not mutually agreed to, a project restart fee of 15% will be due 30 days from when the project started and must be paid before additional work can commence.
Upon resume completion, the client has 7 days to make 2 rounds of changes/edits at no cost. Changes are provided in 2-4 business days. Changes requested due to a shift in career goals, industry change, or lack of information provided at the time of assessment will not be honored. Failure to respond within the 7 days constitutes acceptance of the draft. Any additional requests for edits/revisions beyond the 7 days will be billed at the rate of $100 per hour.
Cover letter and LinkedIn profiles include 1 round of changes/edits within 7 days. LinkedIn profiles, when purchased with a resume, are provided within 2+ business days once client confirms no further changes will be made to the resume.
Current clients who are updating an existing resume prepared by BCS will receive 1 round of changes/edits within 7 days.
Terms For Coaching Services:
Coaching services are not cancellable. Coaching sessions will be scheduled at a mutually agreed to date and time at the conclusion of the first session.
Should you need to reschedule a coaching session, you may do so by providing 24 hours notice in advance of your session and making up the session within a week of the originally scheduled date. Sessions not canceled 24 hours in advance will result in a 10% reschedule fee. If you are late for your session, appointments will not extend past the originally scheduled appointment end time. After TWO (2) consecutive cancellations and/or reschedules, a 10% penalty fee will apply.
All information shared by the client will be kept strictly confidential. Only with written permission will information be released for referral and marketing purposes.
